Moose Lake base is the best departure point into the wilderness canoe area because you don't start with a portage! In addition, more Canadian and Minnesota canoe routes are accessible from Moose Lake. Since we are just 1/2 mile from the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) and 5 miles from Quetico Park you won't find a better place to be outfitted and begin your canoe adventure.
